Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant procurement experience with at least 2 in a managerial role.
• Experience in an academic or research environment is advantageous.
• Meticulous, well-organized and able to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee end-to-end procurement activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide guidance to end users on requirements, drafting specs and sourcing steps.
• Review and approve procurement publications and address vendor clarifications.
• Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to staff under direct supervision.
• Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
• Utilize data analytics to review trends and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Monitor procurement risk analytics and report to the Risk Committee.
• Coordinate with vendors, IT, Safety, Operations, and Finance on invoices.
• Collaborate with the NUS team on system access, audits, and controls.
