NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is recruiting a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead sourcing strategies, governance, and supplier relations in Singapore.

You will drive cost savings, manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, and partner with Finance, Operations, and HR to align procurement with business objectives.

Applicants should have 5–8 years of progressive procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, ERP familiarity, and a track record of improving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive procurement experience, incl. 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, tender management, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement modules.
• Strong governance, audit, compliance, and commercial risk management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Review and enhance procurement policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency and governance.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement measures to mitigate commercial and operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve cost savings and optimise procurement processes.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including sourcing, qualification, onboarding, performance evaluation, contract renewal, and termination.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, service levels, and other commercial conditions.
• Build strong supplier relationships and resolve issues relating to delivery, quality, and performance.
• Monitor supplier performance against key indicators, including cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Oversee end-to-end quotation and tender processes in accordance with established procurement procedures.
• Evaluate supplier proposals, conduct commercial assessments, and prepare award recommendations for management approval.
• Review supplier contracts to ensure commercial suitability, compliance, and effective risk management.
• Monitor contract expiry dates and coordinate timely renewals, renegotiations, or re-tendering.
• Monitor procurement expenditure and ensure effective budgetary control.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, consolidated purchasing, volume discounts, and alternative sourcing.
• Track procurement spending, cost variances, and savings against established targets.
• Prepare procurement reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tenders, contracts, approvals, and supplier communications.
• Support internal and external audits, address audit findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Report on procurement performance, supplier risks, spending, and compliance to management.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and other business units to understand procurement requirements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on sourcing strategies, supplier selection, procurement policies, and contract matters.
• Support new business initiatives and projects from procurement planning through contract execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team to ensure effective execution of procurement activities.
