Job summary

You will lead contracting strategy, pre-qualification for tenders, and the execution of procurement contracts. You will manage supplier selection for large purchases and drive category strategies with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in any discipline.
• At least five years of experience in contracting management or procurement roles.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of contract law, including drafting contract specifications.
• Proven experience in contract negotiations and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical, decisive and highly initiative-driven.
• A quick learner, a good team player with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop the contracting strategy appropriate for project scope and supplier market.
• Organise pre-qualification for tenders under allocation.
• Ensure proper implementation and follow-up of procurement contracts.
• Execute and manage S&P steps in the P2P process to secure the right service or product at the right time.
• For purchases > SGD 40,000 without a framework, manage supplier selection including RFI/RFP and bidder communication.
• Develop and execute project and category strategies with stakeholders.
• Execute the annual terminal procurement plan and budget.
• Review S&P policies and improve the P2P process.
