Job summary

The Ministry of Law (MinLaw) in Singapore seeks a driven professional to join the Strategic Planning and Policy Division. You will shape MinLaw’s strategic planning and resource assessment to support policy and operations.

The role covers strategic planning, resource coordination and policy evaluation, with opportunities to influence MinLaw’s future across divisions and statutory boards. Contracted for 1 year, the appointment offers exposure to whole‑of‑government initiatives and public service

Qualifications

Public service strategy and policy planning experience preferred.
At least 2 years in strategic planning or related field.
Strong writing, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
Knowledge of public sector governance and accountability processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive and coordinate the Ministry’s strategic planning agenda to identify trends, insights and threats for policy and ops.
Formulate MinLaw’s strategy, including objectives and priorities.
Support annual resource planning and reporting to central agencies.
Coordinate engagement with MinLaw divisions and statutory boards to align with whole‑of‑government outcomes.
Monitor performance indicators and enterprise risk to enhance accountability and value-for-money.
