Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Central Planning Modeling Engineer to serve as the central contact for the manufacturing network, calculating capital impacts of process changes and presenting to senior leaders in Manufacturing and R&D.

You will develop tools to expedite and refine planning and reporting across the network, communicating capital and operational impacts clearly and accurately in a multi-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Masters' or Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Economics or similar) or equivalent experience.
• Experience turning complex/ambiguous problems into structured solutions in a multi-functional environment.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and reporting results cross diverse groups.
• Willingness to travel and work out of standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead network tool utilizations strategies and benchmark performance to optimize deployed capital.
• Lead and communicate improvement and implementation plan to all relevant levels and functions in Manufacturing.
• Optimize capacity of installed equipment and lead site/tool level optimization studies for efficiency improvement.
• Collaborate with partners to understand future tool and process roadmaps and assess network capacity impacts.
• Improve financial analyses before capital equipment purchases by automating metrics, flexibility, and repurposing.
