Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Central Planning Modeling Engineer to serve as a central contact for the manufacturing network, calculating capital impact of process changes and presenting to senior leaders in Manufacturing and R&D.

You will connect multiple business areas to drive execution of cost-saving processes and develop new tools for planning and reporting across the network. Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in Fab/Semicon environments, strong data interpretation

Qualifications

• Masters' or Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Business-related or quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience turning complex and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions in a multi-functional environment.
• Ability to operate independently with organization and adaptability to evolving processes.
• Experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and reporting results across diverse groups.
• Experience working in teams and maintaining multi-functional relationships.
• Experience in capacity, business, or process analysis is highly beneficial.
• Ability to apply AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for research, analysis, and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead network tool utilizations strategies and benchmark performance to optimize capital.
• Lead improvement and implementation plans across Manufacturing functions.
• Optimize capacity of install equipment and lead site and tool level studies for efficiency.
• Collaborate to understand future tool and process roadmaps and assess capacity impacts.
• Improve financial analyses by automating metrics, process flexibility, and equipment repurposing.
