Job summary

Rakuten Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Corporate Planning Manager to drive strategic initiatives and support corporate operations across Asia and APAC. You will strengthen governance, implement internal policies, and coordinate key meetings between HQ and regional teams.

The role requires deep experience in corporate planning, governance, and FP&A, with strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in English and Japanese to work with senior management in Japan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in corporate planning or related functions.
• Experience leading subsidiaries at Regional or Global HQ; governance, compliance or FP&A.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English and Japanese for interactions with Japan-based leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic initiatives and support corporate operations across Rakuten Asia and APAC.
• Enhance governance frameworks and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate governance meetings (BOD, AGM) and regional events.
• Liaise between HQ and regional stakeholders to enable smooth coordination.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to inform planning.
