Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Network Planning to shape the 18-month to five-year capacity view across global manufacturing and supply network nodes. You will translate demand scenarios into capacity requirements and lead cross-functional projects with senior leadership support.

You will drive scenario analysis, identify gaps, and connect strategic planning with network priorities, influencing investments and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience across supply chain planning and capacity planning in a global setting.
• End-to-end understanding of how demand, supply, capacity, inventory and manufacturing planning connect to business decisions.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from problem definition through qualification.
• Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate strategic choices beyond operational measures.
• Capability in scenario planning and quantitative analysis, translating data into insights.
• Clear stakeholder communication and storytelling, with senior-leader presentation exposure.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies to enable decisions in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range capacity planning, developing an integrated 18-month to five-year outlook across manufacturing and supply nodes.
• Translate long-term demand forecasts into clear capacity requirements, constraints, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess impact of changing demand and network constraints.
• Evaluate capacity sufficiency and identify gaps, bottlenecks and investment needs before growth is affected.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial to align assumptions and view future capacity needs.
• Establish and improve long-range planning processes and decision cadences across planning activities.
• Lead cross-functional supply chain projects, turning priorities into structured plans and measurable outcomes.
• Present complex analysis as clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Support network design and transformation initiatives through strategic planning and capacity perspective.
• Build a forward-looking view to anticipate constraints and connect capacity with network priorities.
