Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Material Planner to balance materials supply with demand, ensuring timely availability for production and aligning with site stocking strategies. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to adjust plans and improve performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in material planning, proficiency with ERP/MRP (SAP preferred), PFEP implementation, and strong Excel/data analysis skills; experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, Operations) is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred for demand planning, scheduling, inventory control and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manage site material plan and supplier schedules for the site.
• Balance supply/demand and handle exceptions from planning systems.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Supply Continuity, and other teams to ensure material availability.
• Assess supplier performance, drive improvements, and escalate where needed.
• Support PFEP, inventory repositioning, and parameter optimization in planning.
