Job summary

Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore is seeking a senior leader to drive policy, regulation and competition development. The role involves coordinating with operators and agencies to deploy 5G infrastructure and address deployment challenges.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications or engineering, with at least 10 years’ telecoms experience and 3–5 years in supervision, plus strong stakeholder engagement and independent working style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in telecoms, with 3–5 years in supervision.
• Experience in site acquisition and knowledge of COPIF is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to manage operational matters and improve outcomes.
• Coordinate with telecom operators, agencies, and building owners to resolve differences.
• Work strategically to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders to address deployment concerns.
