Job summary

The Communicable Diseases Agency in Singapore seeks a Deputy Director / Senior Assistant Director to lead international partnerships and engagement, advancing relationships with multilateral and bilateral counterparts and stakeholders while mentoring junior staff.

You will oversee portfolios, MOUs, and strategic initiatives, coordinate with MOH, and guide local and international stakeholder engagement efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in international relations, strategic partnerships or related areas.
• Strong analytical competency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in Singapore's communicable diseases policies and global health issues.
• Willingness to travel overseas for work.
• Background in public health and international relations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead international relations with bilateral and multilateral partners and oversee a portfolio.
• Oversee MOU development, implementation and monitoring across divisions.
• Prepare briefing materials and policy papers for senior leadership engagements.
• Lead large project teams and strategic initiatives aligned with agency objectives.
• Coordinate local and international stakeholder engagement strategies and CRM usage.
