Job summary

V-ELEGANT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a System Analyst/Business Analyst to evaluate and improve IT systems by analyzing business requirements and implementing solutions to boost efficiency and productivity.

This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will document functional specifications, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and ensure system enhancements align with organizational goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience as a System analyst/Application Consultant or in a similar IT role.
• Strong PL/SQL and Oracle SQL skills.
• Level 1 and Level 2 BAU support experience, including data investigation and root cause analysis.
• Business analysis capability across the end-to-end SDLC, including requirements gathering, change requests, deployments, and timely delivery.
• Strong understanding of IT service request management.
• Proactive and independent in engaging stakeholders to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current IT systems and business models to identify areas for improvement.
• Gather and document user and system requirements through consultations, interviews, and observations.
• Develop functional specifications and system design documents.
• Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and stakeholders to implement and integrate systems.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business goals.
• Provide technical support and training to users.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues post-implementation.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative IT solutions.
