Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Singapore (Tukang) is seeking an experienced Indirect Material Buyer to lead regional procurement across indirect spend for operations, logistics, facilities and IT, partnering with global teams to deliver long-term value for Singapore and APAC.

You will drive market intelligence, RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management, while ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in SCM, Business Admin, Eng, or related discipline.
• Several years of procurement experience in a project-oriented/technical environment.
• Experience driving supplier search & development, relationship building and negotiations.
• Strong value analysis, cost engineering and strategic sourcing knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel regionally, primarily APAC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, supplier developments and risks to support decisions.
• Collaborate with global procurement teams and contribute to sourcing initiatives.
• Identify suppliers, invite tenders, evaluate capability and negotiate terms.
• Conduct RFQ/RFP processes and supplier evaluations with commercial comparisons.
• Develop sourcing approaches balancing cost, quality, compliance and risk.
• Manage key suppliers, lead negotiations on pricing and terms, monitor KPIs.
• Ensure contracts comply with RR governance and support risk management.
• Drive procurement process improvements and spend/savings tracking.
