Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is recruiting a Marine Safety Manager to lead the HSE section across fleet operations in Singapore. You will investigate marine incidents, drive corrective actions, and ensure compliance with Class and Flag State requirements.

Based in West-Penjuru, the role reports to senior management, with responsibilities including DPA duties, vessel inspections, crew coordination, and regular ship visits to maintain safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• CoC Class 1/2 certification required.
• Extensive experience in marine operations and fleet management.
• Experience with DPA duties, SIRE inspections, and Class/Flag State surveys.
• Proven ability to manage crews and vessel operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE section and investigate marine-related incidents involving safety, security, injuries, accidents, and operations.
• Gather and analyse information, prepare detailed investigation reports, and recommend corrective measures.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure they are implemented within the required timeframe.
• Plan and conduct regular weekly visits to company vessels, ensuring visits achieve objectives while minimising disruption.
