Job summary

Grant Thornton Singapore is seeking an experienced GST professional to join the Indirect Tax team at Assistant Manager or Manager level. You will own client engagements, work with clients and senior stakeholders, and contribute to growth of clients and the practice.

Responsibilities include managing GST engagements, health-checks, reviews, and driving advisory and technology-enabled tax initiatives across jurisdictions. Team coaching and development are integral.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree, diploma, or relevant professional qualification in Accounting or related field.
• ATP accreditation from SCTP would be highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 4 years (Assistant Manager) or 5 years (Manager) GST working experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage GST compliance engagements.
• Conduct GST health-checks, ASK annual reviews, and ACAP reviews.
• Support clients in InvoiceNow and other tech-enabled tax initiatives.
• Undertake vendor and purchaser due diligence as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage and support advisory and consulting assignments.
• Assist clients with IRAS inquiries and audits.
• Project-manage supply chain assignments across taxes and jurisdictions.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
