Job summary

Grant Thornton Singapore Private Limited is seeking an experienced GST professional to join our Indirect Tax team at Assistant Manager or Manager level. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of client engagements, work closely with clients and senior stakeholders, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of both our clients and our practice.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree, diploma, or relevant professional qualification in Accounting, or a related field.
• ATP accreditation from the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals would be highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant GST working experience for the Assistant Manager role and 5 years for the Manager role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Managing GST compliance engagements.
• Conducting GST health-checks, ASK annual reviews, and ACAP reviews.
• Supporting clients prepare for and implementing InvoiceNow as well as other technology-related process-improvement projects.
• Undertaking vendor and purchaser due diligence as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Managing and supporting advisory and consulting assignments.
• Supporting clients with IRAS enquiries and audits.
• Project managing supply chain assignments across taxes and jurisdictions, leveraging Grant Thornton's global network.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Managing and building client relationships.
• Assisting with GST marketing and business development initiatives.
• Leading GST advisory and consulting assignments.
• Supporting practice growth initiatives and identifying opportunities for cross-selling services.
