Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia Pte Ltd seeks an experienced FP&A professional to own daily Opex/Capex management for PPB Singapore, driving forecast accuracy and spending discipline. You will lead quarterly budgets, perform variance analysis and partner with business stakeholders on investment optimization to enable scalable growth.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, strong Excel skills and proficiency with planning tools like Anaplan, SAP BPC, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in FP&A, business or operations finance or related areas.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills.
• Experience with standard costs, Inventory, Opex and Capex.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools experience (Anaplan, SAP BPC, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Opex, Capex and Spend management and reporting activities for PPB SG.
• Lead in-quarter spending and budget management with PPB SG's business partners.
• Independently perform variance analysis, explain forecast-to-actual changes, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive spending discipline, forecast accuracy and investment optimization.
• Own cost modeling to support ad-hoc projects, quarterly and annual forecast cycles.
• Maintain monthly standard costs and analyze drivers for accuracy.
• Perform monthly and quarterly inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Develop and automate processes, dashboards and reporting tools for financial visibility.
• Track and support Grant submission and claims.
• Collaborate with Operations, Accounting and COE teams to deliver timely financial outcomes.
