Wesco is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead forward-looking financial projects, forecast and report on financial performance, and deliver strategic analytical support across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field is required.
• 3 years of financial analysis experience including discounted cash flow.
• 1 year of data query extraction and analytics experience.
• 1 year of P&L and balance sheet forecasting and management experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage profitability analysis across multiple lines of business.
• Enhance standardized approaches for financial analysis of RFPs, bids, and proposed contracts.
• Evaluate actual performance vs. proposed for contracts.
• Coordinate with functions and units to gather inputs on assumptions.
• Support development of annual budget and track variances.
• Monitor progress toward objectives and performance metrics.
• Identify issues and recommend actions to improve operations and resource allocation.
• Perform additional strategic analytical functions.
• Conduct end-of-period reviews of financials for proper reporting.
• Monitor sales and margins to ensure proper billing margin.
• Provide direction and support to junior analysts as needed.
