Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize production layouts and support efficient factory operations.

You will work with Facilities, Manufacturing, and Engineering to validate layouts, document changes, and ensure readiness for tool installations and relocations. You will analyze constraints, balance material flow, and apply AI-enabled approaches while adhering to cleanroom standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong critical-thinking skills with ability to analyze constraints and support data-driven decisions in layout planning.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production equipment layouts using industrial engineering principles to improve material flow, footprint efficiency, and factory output.
• Maintain up-to-date layout documentation for planned tool installations, relocations, upgrades, and removals in ramp‑plan layout.
• Conduct onsite assessments with Facilities and tool owners to validate layout feasibility and reflect operational conditions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities to communicate layout changes and resolve constraints.
• Develop understanding of fab design, cleanroom protocols, and process areas to support layout planning and readiness.
• Incorporate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness while complying with standards and legal requirements.
• Identify and share AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work to foster continuous improvement.
