Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an entry-level FAB Engineer 1 to support capacity and space modeling, enabling accurate production loading assessments.

You will develop non-equipment capability models to meet Fab output requirements and lead cross-department projects to identify improvements. The role involves coordinating site teams, optimizing capital expenditure, and applying AI-assisted insights to daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
• Good written communication and presentation skills.
• Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with integrity and character.
• Ability to multi-task and organize work to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Proficient in programming (Python/SQL) and capable with AI tools (Copilot/Claude/Gemini) is an added advantage.
• Ability to apply AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for research, analysis, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and validate capacity/space models using Industrial Engineering concepts to assess production loading/output needs.
• Develop models for non-equipment related capability to meet Fab output requirements.
• Manage complex projects across several departments and sites, driving improvements.
• Coordinate site industrial engineering teams to improve production metrics and optimize capex usage.
• Understand impact of output changes through scenario analysis.
• Provide inputs for network optimization and long-term strategy discussions.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work to enhance efficiency and quality.
