Job summary

PropertyGuru Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, External Communications to lead consumer campaigns and corporate storytelling across the Group. You will manage a PR agency, drive media relations, secure coverage, and partner with marketing to shape stories and elevate leadership visibility.

This role requires senior-level writing, editorial judgment, and the ability to advise executives.

Qualifications

• Proven years of relevant communications experience, gained in-house, in an agency or both, with a track record in consumer and corporate communications.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to simplify complex information and craft strong media angles.
• Credibility and confidence when working with senior executives, offering thoughtful advice and constructive challenges.
• Sound judgment, discretion and composure under pressure, with ability to escalate appropriately.
• Strong ownership and organizational skills to manage agency partners and multiple workstreams independently.
• Good understanding of Singapore’s media landscape; regional exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver communications for consumer campaigns, product launches and insights, coordinating with marketing and PR agency to secure media coverage.
• Identify and secure thought leadership opportunities for PropertyGuru and its leaders.
• Manage day-to-day media inquiries and draft/approve communications materials.
• Oversee agency delivery across remits, set priorities and review content and outreach.
• Coordinate updates for the corporate website, newsroom and LinkedIn with internal teams.
• Oversee media monitoring and reporting, spotting developments and issues.
• Support crisis responses under Head of External Communications direction.
