Job summary

Upper Spring Consulting in Singapore is representing a client in the marine sector seeking an experienced Corporate Business Planning professional at Assistant Manager level. The role supports CEO and senior leadership with analysis, strategic insight, and governance across investments, portfolio decisions, and business planning.

You will collaborate on M&A evaluations, board reporting, KPI tracking, and cross-group harmonization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 6-7 years of experience in M&A, business planning, strategy, FP&A, valuations, or due diligence.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data structuring.
• Experience liaising with senior management across units.
• Excellent project management and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare board reporting analysis, including long-term cashflow projections and related analyses.
• Consolidate board reporting papers in line with reporting timelines.
• Annual townhall materials preparation and consolidation.
• Execute ad-hoc projects to enhance reporting accuracy and insights.
• Build financial models and investment analysis for corporate and asset-level transactions.
• Coordinate end-to-end M&A processes.
• Prepare asset-related data analysis to support management's decisions.
• Maintain documentation of investment decisions.
• Identify and shortlist potential investment targets.
• Conduct KPI tracking with inputs from group companies.
• Suggest dashboard and methodology improvements for accuracy.
• Coordinate KPI reports from group companies.
• Track the Business Continuity Project and other initiatives.
• Provide guidance to Group companies on ad-hoc analyses and harmonization.
