Job summary

The Bank of East Asia (BEA) in Singapore seeks an experienced corporate banking professional to manage relationships with mid-to-large clients, focusing on trade finance, lending and working capital solutions. You will originate and manage accounts, collaborate with regional teams and participate in syndicated arrangements where needed.

Key requirements include a university degree and at least 7 years of relevant corporate banking experience, with strong credit writing and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Strong credit writing skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage clients and internal stakeholders confidently.
• Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Able to manage portfolios and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Mandarin language skills would be advantageous to support client coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve KPIs in loans outstanding, income and NPL ratio.
• Market bank products to medium and large local/regional corporations and related clients.
• Collaborate with Head Office and China branches on cross-referrals and with major banks on syndications.
• Build rapport and service existing customers.
• Submit credit proposals for new or increased deals.
• Monitor and perform timely credit reviews of existing customers.
• Close monitor NPL accounts and provisions.
• Cross-sell BEA products and refer prospects to other units.
• Ensure compliance with MAS/HKMA, internal BEA policies and AML/CTF rules.
