Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an intermediate-level Corporate Banking Associate to assist clients with capital market funding and advisory services for M&A and other transactions. You will work with senior bankers, coordinate with product partners, and help manage liquidity and funding strategies.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, market analysis, and cross-selling Citi’s full spectrum of financial products.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in lending/credit or related product experience.
• Strong credit skills and understanding of credit approval processes.
• Experience with Financial Institutions, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Financial Institutions business, related regulations and lending/credit processes.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior bankers to provide relationship management support.
• Provide treasury and corporate finance solutions including cash management, trade, vendor finance, FX, loans, debt capital markets and derivatives.
• Cross-sell Citi’s products and services to clients.
• Assist in marketing and execution with Bankers, Relationship Analysts and Partners.
• Assess credit, transactional and franchise risks with senior officers for deal execution and risk mitigation.
• Review public filings, industry data and forecasts to produce strategic analyses.
• Stay informed on market trends and best practices.
• Manage client portfolio and maintain trusted advisor relationships.
