Job summary

Fuku is seeking a Purchaser to source and buy construction, maintenance, and handyman materials for ongoing projects in Singapore. You will engage suppliers, obtain quotes, compare prices, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 2+ years of purchasing experience in construction or related fields, strong negotiation and coordination skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple requests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years purchasing experience in construction/building/renovation industries.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and market pricing.
• Strong negotiation and quotation comparison skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple purchase requests.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction, maintenance, repair, and handyman materials, tools, and equipment.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with project/site teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers when required.
• Ensure purchases stay within the allocated project budget.
• Handle quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related purchasing documentation.
