Job summary

Qualifications

• At least eight years of relevant work experience in strategic communications, marketing communications, media relations or public relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Interest in public sector policy matters, international relations and current affairs.
• Strong project and stakeholder-management skills, able to work independently and in teams.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Photoshop or CapCut is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communications strategies aligned with priorities and messaging outcomes.
• Provide communications advice to senior stakeholders on announcements and engagement.
• Develop and implement media outreach and engagement strategies to raise awareness.
• Oversee digital presence and outreach through owned and social media channels.
• Maintain brand identity and ensure consistent messaging and visuals across materials.
• Plan and coordinate communications for events and special projects with internal teams and partners.
• Manage vendors for marketing campaigns, including briefs, timelines and budgets.
• Conduct communications research, social listening and performance reporting.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders to profile NSAS and support partnerships.
