Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong project and stakeholder-management skills, able to work independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Photoshop or CapCut is an advantage.

Job description

What the role is:

As part of NSAS’s Strategic Communications & Special Projects team, the job holder will lead the development and implementation of NSAS’s integrated communications strategy, including media engagement, digital content and social media, to deliver key messages and strategic communications outcomes. The role will oversee NSAS’s communications, branding and media efforts, provide communications advice to senior stakeholders, and work with external partners on events and engagements to profile NSAS and Singapore’s space sector.

What you will be working on:
  • Develop and implement integrated communications strategies aligned with NSAS’s priorities and strategic messaging outcomes.
  • Provide communications advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders on key announcements, engagements and emerging issues.
  • Develop and implement media outreach and engagement strategies to build awareness and communicate NSAS’s objectives.
  • Oversee NSAS’s digital presence and enhance outreach to key target audiences through owned and social media channels.
  • Maintain NSAS’s brand identity and ensure consistency of messaging and visual presentation across communications materials.
  • Plan and coordinate communications for key events, announcements and special projects, working across internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage vendors for specialised products and marketing campaigns, including briefs, timelines, budgets and quality of deliverables.
  • Conduct communications research, social listening and performance reporting to evaluate impact and refine communications efforts.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders to profile NSAS and support local and international partnerships.
What we are looking for:
  • At least eight years of relevant work experience in strategic communications, marketing communications, media relations or public relations, with experience leading communications projects or campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear messages for different audiences.
  • Interest in public sector policy matters, international relations, economic issues and current affairs.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in creative design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop or CapCut would be an advantage.
