Job summary

MINDEF seeks a senior professional to train and mentor SAF officers across services, preparing them for top leadership roles. The role involves leading course development at the SAF military college, coordinating overseas study visits, and organizing distinguished speaker dialogues.

The incumbent will produce analytical pieces on global security, military affairs and technology developments, while fostering strong international defence relations and diplomacy across partners.

Qualifications

• Education in Strategic Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or Adult Learning is preferred.
• Strong analytical expertise to refine course curriculum and deliver high-level instruction.
• Senior interpersonal and written communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and conduct of courses at the SAF military college.
• Manage Overseas Study Visits.
• Organise Distinguished Speaker Dialogues.
• Produce analytical pieces on global security, military affairs, and technology developments.
• Mentor and coach officers to prepare them for senior leadership appointments.
• Maintain international relations and foster defence cooperation between SAF and foreign militaries.
