Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services seeks a Strategic Cloud Engineer for Security and Compliance in Singapore. The role focuses on providing technical guidance on secure cloud implementations, automating provisioning, cloud-ready architectures, and prescriptive security guidance across Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience architecting or developing secure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep domain expertise in cloud security and compliance and be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex cloud security and compliance challenges.
• Work with customers to design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet and exceed their security requirements, through in-depth discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and implementation in Google Cloud environment.
• Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage disparate senior stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and drive positive customer outcomes on the Google Cloud platform.
• Travel regularly (up to 30%), cross-region for meetings, technical reviews, and delivery activities.
