Job summary

Hytech is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to bridge data and business strategy. You will build dashboards and data pipelines, conduct in-depth analyses, and collaborate with stakeholders across regions to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or tech industries.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin, to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data pipeline setting.
• Strong business sense and ability to interpret data from a commercial perspective.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Design and build efficient data pipelines to deliver reliable data outputs in a timely manner.
• Own the delivery of key data and analytics projects, partner with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and contexts.
• Translate business needs into data solutions with clarity and commercial acumen.
• Deliver insights through performance tracking and ad-hoc deep dives to guide decisions.
• Define, align, and standardize core business metrics to ensure data consistency across regions and teams.
• Actively challenge assumptions, connect data points across domains, and provide forward-looking recommendations.
