Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright in Singapore is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join the Marketing & Business Development team in the Singapore office. You will shape and implement BD initiatives, support the disputes and transport practices, and collaborate with lawyers, partners, and global MBD colleagues to drive client development and strategic bids.

You will manage multi-channel campaigns, client development plans, and ROI reporting, while guiding budgets and stakeholder

Qualifications

• A strong background in business development and marketing is desirable.
• Experience in a legal/professional services/partnership environment is helpful.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Confident in commercial, persuasive communication and initiative.
• Highly organised with a proactive approach to the role.
• Experience or equivalent qualifications in marketing or communications is valued.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Leadership ability and reputation building within the business are desirable.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and writing bids.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with adaptable approaches.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver business development and marketing activity across multiple channels.
• Develop and implement annual business plans, budgets, and campaign plans for Singapore.
• Lead BD activity across channels to meet regional objectives including client development, profile raising and events.
• Act as lead point of contact and ambassador for the practices with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with lawyers and partners.
• Produce bespoke bids, panel pitches and client development materials.
• Manage client development plans and related activities.
• Collaborate with MBD teams and Newcastle marketing services for consistency.
• Oversee directory submissions and ROI reporting for budgets.
