Job summary

SPD Scientific Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, is seeking an Accountant to join the Finance team. You will prepare monthly financial reports, assist in forecasts and budgets, and liaise with auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, handling fixed assets, GST, and year-end activities. This is a permanent, on-site position within the Finance department.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports including journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet and P&L.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and management reports and analysis.
• Review balance sheet, P&L schedules and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare GST, import duty, withholding tax and corporate income tax returns.
• Maintain fixed asset and inventory registers.
• Assist in yearly forecasts and budgets.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents and authorities as required.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and compliance with local standards.
• Lead annual fixed asset verification and year-end stocktake.
