Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Tuas, Singapore invites applications for an Account Management Specialist. You will support the account team, maintain strong customer relationships, and help grow share of customer wallets across assigned accounts.

The role emphasizes contract negotiations, data gathering for customer value, and coordination with internal stakeholders to meet revenue targets. You will report to the APAC team, operate on an On-site with Flexibility model, and participate in Cep Cummins processes

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Basic relevant work experience required. Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Management of smaller accounts and aftermarket opportunities.
• Support to broader account teams across APAC.
• Assistance with forecasting, opportunity management, quotation follow-up and customer engagement activities.
• Provision of business continuity coverage during periods of travel, leave and other absences.

Responsibilities

• Supports the account team in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Assists in organization of customer visits and negotiations.
• Identifies customer needs and helps curate data to evaluate Cummins benefits.
• Provides information to support contract negotiation and implementation with accounts.
• Coordinates internal communication across sales roles and segments and with internal stakeholders.
• Supports revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and participating in cost reduction initiatives.
• Manages account receivable deliverables including discussing and negotiating payment terms.
• Maintains sales forecasts and tracks progress against forecast.
• Balances inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations with internal stakeholders.
