Job summary

Skill Haus Recruitment Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Stores Operations Executive to manage daily store and inventory activities for a minimart selling household items.

You will receive goods, record stock, monitor levels, coordinate with suppliers, and perform stock takes, with flexibility for shifts and standby duties for overseas shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in storekeeping, inventory control or store operations is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and responsibility.
• Able to handle and move stock safely and perform physical stocktaking.
• Clear communication with colleagues and suppliers.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including past midnight for overseas shipments.
• Standby duties to receive and check incoming air and sea shipments.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays and extended shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and check quantities, descriptions and delivery documents against POs or delivery notes.
• Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately in the inventory system or stock records.
• Maintain updated inventory lists and ensure stock records match physical stock on hand.
• Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock items for replenishment or reordering.
• Arrange, label and organise items in the storeroom and designated storage areas.
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are properly arranged and easy to locate.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies, shortages or damaged goods.
• Monitor expiry dates and product condition where applicable.
• Coordinate with suppliers and relevant staff regarding deliveries, returns and stock discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain proper records of stock movements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe storage area.
• Perform ad hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned when necessary.
