Job summary

OKAY PTE. LTD. is seeking an organized Store Keeper to manage stock, staff coordination, and plan promotional campaigns for the store. The role involves overseeing goods, inventory, and store operations to ensure smooth daily functioning.

The candidate should have experience in retail management, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records. The position requires adherence to hygiene and safety standards and the ability to work within opening hours.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in retail management, marketing, or related fields.
• Experience in retail management or sales is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and budgeting processes.
• Ability to develop and implement retail promotion strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries to the correct storage area.
• Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock.
• Monitor and take inventory on a regular basis to compile orders.
• Maintain clear and organized records for reports and invoices.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure proper levels.
• Verify goods arrived as per purchase terms and quantities.
• Store both food & beverage and operational stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of storage facilities.
• Ensure store requisitions are signed by Department Heads.
• Sign and track store requisitions and enter into MMS.
• Post invoices using the MMS system.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
• Adhere to internal controls and procedures for after-hours issues.
• Comply with health and safety regulations for food and beverage items.
• Conduct inventory audits and report findings.
• Assist Accounts Payable with cost discrepancies.
• Update inventory management software daily.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to order and receive items.
• Resolve vendor delivery issues and manage returns.
