Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a skilled Storage Administrator to manage enterprise storage environments across NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, and SAN infrastructure in Singapore. The role emphasizes high availability, performance optimization, and data protection in a multi-vendor setup.

You will administer NetApp ONTAP clusters, configure data protection with SnapMirror/SnapVault, and handle LUN provisioning on Dell EMC systems. Strong knowledge of SAN fabrics and monitoring tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in storage administration.
• Strong experience with NetApp ONTAP (AFF/FAS) and SAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Administer NetApp ONTAP environments including clusters, SVMs, aggregates, and volumes.
• Configure data protection like SnapMirror and SnapVault.
• Provision LUNs, mapping, and masking on Dell EMC platforms (PowerMax, Unity, PowerScale/Isilon).
• Manage replication technologies including SRDF.
• Administer Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade via GUI/CLI and Pure1.
• Configure Brocade SAN switches, zoning, and fabric management.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity; forecast and optimize.
• Provide L2/L3 support, perform RCA, and resolve incidents.
• Execute firmware upgrades, patching, and ITIL-aligned change activities.
