Job summary

Cloud Kinetics Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Storage & Backup Engineer to administer and support storage, backup, and object storage platforms across customer environments, ensuring reliability, data protection, and service availability.

You will manage HPE Alletra and Cloudian environments, perform provisioning, monitor performance, support upgrades, and coordinate with teams on incident, change, and RCA processes while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of storage and backup administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage and backup platforms.
• Experience in enterprise or managed services environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support HPE Alletra storage platforms.
• Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, mapping, and capacity management.
• Monitor storage utilization and performance.
• Support storage maintenance and upgrade activities.
• Administer Cloudian object storage environments.
• Manage buckets, users, policies, and platform upgrades.
• Support backup and recovery operations using Veeam Kasten.
• Validate backup integrity and recovery procedures.
• Configure and maintain HPE ToR switch connectivity supporting storage environments.
• Troubleshoot storage and network-layer connectivity issues.
• Manage incidents, changes, service requests, and root cause analyses.
• Conduct proactive health checks and monitoring.
• Support patching and maintenance activities.
• Maintain operational documentation and procedures.
