Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor for our Singapore property. The role oversees shift stewarding operations, ensures high hygiene standards, and enforces local health, safety and brand guidelines. You will manage inventories, assist with budgeting, and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. Minimum 1–3 years in stewarding or kitchen ops with supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or relevant certifications in food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
• 1–3 years of experience in stewarding or kitchen operations.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all stewarding functions to achieve the optimum departmental costs.
• Assists in determining minimum and maximum stocks and controls par-stocks.
• Works with supervisors on department budget preparation and management.
• Liaises with engineering for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Develops training plans and implements training for stewarding staff.
• Maintains effective inter-departmental working relationships and conducts shift briefings.
• Ensures hygiene standards and safety compliance across the kitchen and premises.
