Job summary

Instructors lead grade-appropriate science activities, coach students through STEM tasks, and collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. Experience with LEGO Spike Prime is a plus, and degrees in STEM/education are encouraged.

Qualifications

Demonstrated passion for engaging children in learning and fostering STEM interest.
Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills demonstrated through lesson delivery and student interaction.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and confident in public speaking within educational settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to support lesson preparation and reporting.
Experience with LEGO Spike Prime technology is a plus for lead roles.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct STEM lessons introducing grade-appropriate science and engineering concepts.
Facilitate and coach students through hands-on STEM activities and experiments.
Collaborate with instructors and staff to maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
Monitor and assess each child’s learning progress and provide feedback to curriculum developers and parents.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and students to support engagement.
Manage classroom dynamics to ensure order and discipline during sessions.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in centres and classrooms.
