Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated STEM/Makerspace support staff in Singapore. The role involves assisting teachers with JOULES and ALP programmes, prepping and maintaining STEM equipment, and supervising students in Makerspace activities.

You will manage inventories, ensure safety, and support maintenance of the JOULES Smart Centre; prior Makerspace or STEM education experience is advantageous. The position runs 10 months, with a fixed daily schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma in STEM or related discipline; preferably with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates without Diploma but with relevant experience may be considered.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous, independent and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of prototyping, fabrication techniques, machines and materials an advantage.
• Experience in Makerspace, STEM education or technical support is an added advantage.

Duration/Working hours:

10 months contract (Option to extend another 10 months) Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027

Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break.
Daily start time may vary according to the school timetable, but the daily working hours remain fixed.

Service Period:

1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027, excluding 8 weeks of school holidays when service is not required:

• 2 weeks during June school holidays
• 6 weeks during November-December school holidays

No service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
