Job summary

Science Centre Singapore is looking for a dynamic Project Officer in its Events and Outreach department to plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse portfolio of STEM events—competitions, festivals, conferences, seminars, trails and workshops—that engage Singapore's youth and the public.

You will oversee end-to-end event delivery, including logistics, venue sourcing, vendor management, marketing and on-site coordination, while developing inclusive learning experiences for students, teachers,

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in science, engineering or related STEM discipline; ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Event and project management qualifications and experience may apply.
• Ability to curate immersive science experiences for students, teachers, families and the public.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors and team members.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, professional and capable of working evenings/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute a diverse portfolio of STEM events and programmes.
• Oversee end-to-end event delivery: logistics, venue sourcing, vendor relationships, marketing and on-site coordination.
• Develop inclusive, impactful STEM learning experiences for audiences of all ages.
• Maintain strong stakeholder communication throughout from inception to execution.
• Contribute to visitorship and revenue generation for Science Centre Singapore.
