Job summary

National University of Singapore is seeking a Manager (Innovation) to shape student entrepreneurship at NUS Computing. You will design and run programmes that take ideas to real ventures and build a supportive community among founders, alumni, mentors and partners.

You will test new approaches, iterate quickly and work closely with the I&E Office to connect the school with the wider startup ecosystem in Singapore and beyond.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Understanding of the wider startup ecosystem—founders, investors, corporates and support organisations.
• Experience designing and running programmes for founders or aspiring founders.
• Experience building and sustaining a community.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Good organisation and project management skills, with attention to detail.
• Willingness to experiment, learn from what does not work and try again.
• Genuine passion for startups, innovation and developing young entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

• Create and launch new programmes that help student entrepreneurs develop their ideas, skills and ventures.
• Run and improve existing programmes, using feedback to make each cycle better.
• Manage The Furnace incubator to provide space, guidance and networks for founders.
• Follow founders' progress and offer timely, practical support.
• Build and nurture a community of student founders, alumni, mentors, investors and partners.
• Create regular opportunities for the community to meet, learn, and collaborate.
• Connect the School with the wider startup ecosystem in Singapore and beyond.
