Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a stamping operator in Singapore, with 1–3 years of experience. The role involves meeting daily production targets, maintaining quality per checklists, and ensuring process KPIs such as OEE and PPM are achieved.

You’ll handle tooling adjustments, material loading, and adherence to 5S standards to support stamping operations. Candidates should have NT C3 mechanical qualification and be able to work independently with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• NTC 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 1 year experience in stamping industry
• 2–3 years high-speed stamping experience
• Knowledge of stamping safety practices
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Analytical problem solving in stamping
• Experience with inspection tooling and equipment
• Ability to train others to perform inspection
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets and defined quality requirements.
• Ensure KPIs like OEE and PPM are met for the stamping APU.
• Run production and perform quality checks on parts according to the checklist and record data.
• Escalate quality or other issues during production and record data in relevant documents (OEE/TEEP, PPM, etc.).
• Carry out tooling changes and adjustments to ensure good quality parts.
• Load and unload metal coils from the decoiler according to process sheet and pass strip.
• Prepare slug drums and press ancillary equipment during tool changes.
• Maintain 5S in and around the stamping press according to norms.
• Conduct rework, re-screen and sorting as needed.
• Assist in setup of tooling and unloading during maintenance or changeover.
• Ensure slug drums are stored properly after use and check cutting oil levels as per checklist.
