Job summary

Zohorecruit in Singapore is seeking an experienced Stamping Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will analyze stamping processes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Production to meet productivity, quality and cost targets.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Production or NTC II in tool and die making, with 5+ years in high-speed stamping for diploma holders or 15+ years for NTC II holders. Strong analytical and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Production or NTC II in tool and die making required.
• For Diploma holders: minimum 5 years in high-speed stamping.
• For NTC II holders: minimum 15 years in die maintenance and stamping.
• Able to read and interpret die/part drawings.
• Able to work under tight schedules.
• Experience in mass production of precision parts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve stamping problems to meet productivity, quality and cost targets.
• Assist in stamping tool design reviews for new product development.
• Work closely with the Production Team to achieve set goals and targets.
• Establish process capability, optimum parameter setting, mill cost, BOM and work instructions for dies.
• Identify / propose cost reduction programs to meet stamping requirements.
• Provide technical guidance/training to Toolmakers and Production Technicians.
• Train and lead a team of Toolmakers and Production Technicians.
• Work to comply with safety requirements and maintain safe working habits.
