Job summary

HR SOLUTIONS CONSULTANTS LLP seeks a seasoned Stage Manager to oversee planning, rehearsals, and production meetings. You will ensure artistic direction, supervise technical runs, and maintain smooth coordination between crews, keeping productions on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a degree in performing arts or theatrical studies and at least three years of stage management experience. Asian culture understanding is essential; knowledge of performing arts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in performing arts or theatrical studies is required.
• Minimum 3 years of stage management experience.
• Very accurate in planning and coordinating work.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
• In depth understanding of Asian culture performances.
• Knowledge of performing arts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan or read plots/themes of performances and summarize plots.
• Understand the script and symbolism of the script.
• Plan and schedule rehearsals.
• Be in charge of all rehearsals including technical running.
• Ensure rehearsals follow artistic directions and call for extra corrections if needed.
• Conduct production meetings and attend all production meetings to ensure tasks are completed timely.
• Ensure effective communication between technical crew and artiste crew.
• Monitor production costs to stay within budget.
• Write reports on revenue of each production.
• Monitor audience response and report feedback for future productions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. To plan or read the plots or themes of all performances and summaries the plots
2. Understand the script and all symbolism of the script
3. Plan and schedule rehearsals
4. Be the person in charge of all the rehearsals including the technical running of the rehearsals
5. Ensure that the rehearsals maintain the artistic directions and if there is a need, to call for extra correctional rehearsals
6. To conduct production meetings and be present in all productions meeting to ensure that all tasks of the production are completed in a timely manner
7. Ensure that the technical crew and the artiste crew communicate frequently to ensure tasks are completed on time
8. Monitor the cost of the productions to ensure that the production is within budget
9. To write a report to the management on the revenue of each production
10. To monitor the audience response to each stage performance and report to management as a feedback for future production

REQUIREMENTS:
