The One Livehouse Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a responsible Stage Manager to support the smooth operation of live performances at our venue.

You will coordinate performers, technical crew and venue operations to run rehearsals, sound checks and shows on schedule. In a fast-paced live entertainment setting, you will manage stage schedules, call times and show timings, liaise with musicians, DJs and staff, and ensure safety and readiness of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in live entertainment, events, theatre, concerts, nightlife or similar environments.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly with performers, crew and management.
  • Remain calm and make practical decisions during live operations.
  • Comfortable evenings, weekends and public holidays according to venue schedule.
  • Basic understanding of live sound, lighting or stage equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preparation and execution of live performances, rehearsals and sound checks.
  • Manage stage schedules, call times and show timings.
  • Liaise with musicians, singers, DJs, technical crew and venue staff.
  • Ensure performers and equipment are ready before performances.
  • Coordinate stage changes and show movements.
  • Communicate cues and timing to performers and crew.
  • Monitor progress and respond to operational issues.
  • Keep stage and backstage areas organised, safe and ready.
  • Assist with basic coordination of microphones, instruments, stands and equipment.
  • Maintain clear communication between front-of-house, backstage and technical teams.
  • Support special events and guest performances.
  • Carry out other stage and performance duties as required.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and organised Stage Manager to support the smooth operation of live performances at our livehouse. The Stage Manager will coordinate performers, technical crew and venue operations to ensure that rehearsals, sound checks and live shows run according to schedule.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced live entertainment environment and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with performers, technical staff and venue management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation and execution of live performances, rehearsals and sound checks
  • Manage stage schedules, performer call times and show timings
  • Liaise with musicians, singers, DJs, technical crew and venue operations staff
  • Ensure performers and equipment are ready before each performance
  • Coordinate stage changes, performer transitions and other show-related movements
  • Communicate cues and timing requirements to relevant performers and crew
  • Monitor the progress of performances and respond to operational issues when necessary
  • Ensure the stage and backstage areas remain organised, safe and ready for use
  • Assist with basic coordination of microphones, instruments, stands and other stage equipment
  • Maintain clear communication between front-of-house, backstage and technical teams
  • Support special events, guest performances and changes to the regular performance programme
  • Carry out other stage and performance-related duties as required
Requirements:
  • Experience in live entertainment, events, theatre, concerts, nightlife or similar environments is preferred
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills

  • Able to remain calm and make practical decisions during live operations
  • Good time management and attention to detail

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
