Job summary

NextLabs is seeking a Staff/Senior Consulting Engineer to work with customers to design information security and compliance solutions using NextLabs products. You will lead architecture discussions, contribute during pilots and enterprise deployments, and train clients on software use and administration.

Applicants with strong analytical skills and experience in SI or information security will be considered for senior roles; collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome with strong analytical thinking and eagerness to work in professional services.
• 5+ years in a system integrator or information security role may be senior or lead.
• Hands-on architectural design, implementation, integration, or administration experience with listed tech.
• Familiar with security standards like NIST, FIPS 140-x, PCI-DSS, GDPR.
• Experience deploying software on Windows Server (2019+) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/SUSE).
• Cloud familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP; containerization with Docker/K8s/OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical knowledge during pilots, PoCs, or enterprise deployments.
• Perform architecture and infrastructure design activities for integrations.
• Implement security solutions at client sites using NextLabs software.

• Install and configure NextLabs software at client premises; troubleshoot during deployment.
• Demonstrate understanding of client issues, industry, and business operations.

Responsibilities include :

• Working closely with customers to design solutions using NextLabs products to customer's information security and compliance needs.
• Provide in‑depth technical knowledge and development expertise during pilot, proof of concept stage, or enterprise‑wide deployment.
• Performing portions of integration technology architecture and infrastructure design activities.
• Implement security solutions at the customer site using NextLabs software.
• Train customers and partners in the use, administration, and customization of the software.
• Install and configure NextLabs software at client premises. Troubleshoot issues during the implementation phase.
• Demonstrate knowledge of client's issues, industry, and business operations.
• Ensure an ongoing client satisfaction focus from all team members.
• Identify and develop service offerings, methodologies, and intellectual capital.

Requirements:

• We welcome applications from fresh graduates who demonstrate strong analytical thinking and an eagerness to work in the professional services organization
• Candidates with 5+ years of work experience in professional services organization in the System Integrator role, or Information Security specialist role will be considered for senior or lead roles
• Hands on in‑depth architectural design, implementation, integration or administration knowledge of one or more of the following: Active Directory, LDAP, SharePoint, SQL, Exchange, PLM, ERP
• Knowledge of certificate lifecycle management, cryptographic operations
• Familiar with security standards like NIST, FIPS 140-x, PCI‑DSS, GDPR
• Good experience deploying and configuring software on Windows Server OS (2019 onwards)
• Experience working with at least one of the following Linux OS: RHEL, CentOS, SUSE
• Familiar with cloud platforms Amazon EC2, MS Azure, GCP
• Familiar with containerization/container orchestration technologies like Docker, K8s,OpenShift
• Prior development experience with one major programming language like java, C++
• Familiar with web development concepts, REST APIs
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills
• Can do attitude and eagerness to contribute in a team‑oriented environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Proficient in English and Japanese
