Job summary

Airwallex is seeking an experienced Product Designer to partner with product managers, engineers and writers to define problems, map user flows, prototype interactions and launch new products. You will indirectly lead a team of designers, PMs and engineers as the creative director on innovative projects.

The role requires 8+ years in product design, excellent UX and interaction skills, and the ability to drive direction, strategy and collaboration across global product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product design.
• Excellent UX, visual and interaction skills.
• Ability to define direction and lead teams.
• Experience with leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong storytelling and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, engineers and writers to define problems, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services.
• Indirectly lead the work of a team of designers, product managers and engineers as the defacto creative director.
• Build relationships with leaders inside and outside product teams; manage stakeholders.
• Understand research methods and opportunities/constraints for global products.
