Job summary

Airwallex in Singapore is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the ecosystem platform. You will develop APIs to connect with external financial institutions and third‑party platforms, and drive scalable integration solutions for the developer community.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define the technical roadmap, advocate on DX, and help codify best practices, security, and observability across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in developing Internet applications, large financial systems, or e-commerce platforms.
• Proficient in coding or scripting languages (Java/Kotlin/Python, etc.).
• Experience building or maintaining a public-facing developer platform, app marketplace, or extension framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the ecosystem platform APIs.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable integrations.
• Drive DX with documentation, sandboxes, and tooling.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and security standards.
