Job summary

Green Avenue Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Staff Nurse to provide exceptional patient care, supervise nursing staff, and assist with administrative tasks in our facility.

The successful candidate will lead daily nursing operations as Nurse-in-Charge, conduct rounds, administer medications, and collaborate with doctors and therapists to maintain high standards of care. Night shift with 42 hours per week is offered.

Qualifications

• State Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.
• BCLS trained.
• Minimum 2 years in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and promote quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations as Nurse-in-Charge.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff during shifts.
• Conduct rounds, assess residents' conditions, and provide timely interventions.
• Administer medications, perform senior nursing treatments, and handle emergencies.
• Ensure accurate documentation, updating of nursing charts, and maintenance of resident records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians, and pharmacists.
• Participate in quality assurance, fire safety, and emergency response committees.
• Assign daily tasks, supervise, and mentor junior staff; assist with staff appraisals.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical (Primary)

• Lead daily nursing operations as Nurse-in-Charge


• Supervise and guide nursing staff during shifts


• Conduct rounds, assess residents' conditions, and provide timely interventions


• Administer medications, perform senior nursing treatments, and handle emergencies


• Ensure accurate documentation, updating of nursing charts, and maintenance of resident records

Administration (Secondary)

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians, and pharmacists


• Participate in quality assurance, fire safety, and emergency response committees


• Assign daily tasks, supervise, and mentor junior staff


• Assist with staff performance appraisals

Requirements:

• State Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.


• Basic Cardiac Life Support Trained


• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting


• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment


• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work culture
